Rest in peace beloved Gracie. 🌹 Thank you for all the ways you made life bearable, uncomplicated, and magnificent for Madeleine. And thank you Madeleine for voicing your grief and all the layers it strips our soul bare. I lost my heart horse 2 years ago, and I still cannot find a way to arrive to the bottom layer of what missing her feels like. Maybe because, like you so beautifully wrote, I loved all the way, without boundaries… it feels natural that my grief would reflect the endless tenderness with which we held each other in the waking world.
Sending you a warm, soothing cup of tea and the flicker of a candle to keep the flame of soul lit. Thank you for your heartfelt words. They keep my own candle lit. 🕯️♥️
Every single word I feel so deeply Taj, thank you for your tenderness. Honouring those two years you've been missing her... endless love & endless aching. Witnessing your beautiful land was a balm, those beautiful ones running free.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for writing about it and sharing your heart. It’s so important because so many go through this and feel like they should move on quickly. But this is a grief that deserves to be honored. Holding you in my heart.
Thank you Sam, I really feel your words- Your writing often gives me permission to feel the truth & not bypass. Sending you love for all the grief you hold in your heart x
I am so so sorry for your loss. I felt this deep in my bones and my soul. Yesterday just marked 2 years so I lost my soul cat. I actually just wrote about her loss and our love in my latest blog - the grief and gratitude of loving you.
I know the sadness is deep and the days feel impossible to get through, but I hope you know they will always be with you ❤️
Jacque, thank you for taking the time to read & share your own heartbreak... our souls remain tethered don't they? It's truly remarkable how much love these beings share. Every word you share is so appreciated and I look forward to reading yours over the next couple of days x
